Julie Fox
Managing Partner & CEO
Julie, and Brandbuilders, have worked on a broad range of business issues – helping businesses move reticent consumers up the value curve to ultra-premium product offerings, turning around stagnant businesses through breakthrough insights and repositioning, and creating compelling new product concepts.
Brandbuilders has worked across many categories, and with clients that include: Abbott Labs, Art of Shaving, Avon, Beiersdorf, Benjamin Moore (Berkshire Hathaway), Borden, Colgate Palmolive, Dean Foods, Energizer, EuroPro, Gillette, Golden Oval, Hallmark, Holmes, Merck KgA, Pepsi, Playtex, Procter & Gamble, Safelite, Sun Products, T. Rowe Price, Unilever, WhiteWave.
Prior to founding Brandbuilders, as VP of Marketing at Keds, Julie repositioned the brand, and supported it by developing the concept for, and introducing, its most successful new product line ever.
In brand leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Julie repositioned Pantene – resulting in the growth of the brand from 1% share to worldwide leader in haircare.
At GE, during Jack Welch’s tenure, she consulted to the Vice Chairman’s Committee on how to increase the new product development success rate throughout the company. Working with the Presidents of Aircraft Engine, Major Appliance, Plastics, and GE Credit Corporation, Julie developed a best practices model, which was then taught to key executives throughout GE.
Julie holds an MBA from Columbia University in Marketing & Innovation, and a BA from Barnard College/Columbia University.
